Made from recycled copper and steel wire, these earrings are inspired by a common mode of transportation in Western Kenya - the bicycle. Called a "boda boda" by the locals, bicycles are used as public transportation (you ride on a padded rack on the back) and are named for the bicycles used to transport people across the border between Uganda and Kenya rom border to border. The pin is approximately 2 inches wide, and includes a safety pin for wearing the pin on a lapel, hat, or backpack.
